In Final Fantasy 5 I have just passed the ship graveyard and have monks at job level 5 and at level 15.
Do I need to grind more? I also did the grinding in the graveyard itself so I have 9 elixers and 27 daggers.

If you have to grind in order to reasonably complete a game, it isn't worth playing.

Mmm, I think you should be good if you got several decent healers as well. The monks should be able to deal enough damage to the boss and your healers should cast heal when she turns undead.
If you are past that point already, then I think you've overlevelled in my opinion. I past that part when I was level 5 when I ran through the game.

They can all heal them selves and cure blind and poison because of one of there skills.
Is a healer still needed?

I'd still raise a primary healer because you'll get better heal skills later on.

Which Final Fantasy games don't make you have to grind?

Master monk, knight, whitemage , your favorite skill's job So you can just freelancer when needed. White magic just needs two. You should use a guide so you don't miss any magic.
Also topic hijack. Do you think we will get V on DS?

Do you think we will get V on DS? Eh, I'd master everything because you get stat bonuses. But mostly the classes you should master are the following: For physical characters, master these classes for the following skills: Ninja (for dual wield) Ranger (X-Shot) Magic characters should master: Red Mage (X-Magic, although by this time, you'd probably be mastered everything else) Time Mage (Time Magic, ftw =3) Summoner (High level summons > Black Magic, and Golem is so damn useful) White Mage (White magic obviously) Blue Mage (up to the level where you can learn and get Blue Magic. Skills are obviously useful here) Also, no for DS. I'm STILL WAITING for a Secret of Mana remake. Stop hijacking topics. =<

It's not so much that you 'need' to grind more. It's all dependent on your skill level.
So really, if you're good, you don't need to grind. If not, then prepare to invest time into it.
