www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=379699As with Sonic Team in years' past, the best employees are jumping the sinking ship. Oh dear. On the bright side, Wise could partner up with Nintendo and compose music for the next DK game. ...in a perfect world...

Yes. That would certainly be cool.
Rare should make another Banjo, like the first two, no vehicle gimmicks. Speaking of which, I need to get Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo Tooie on XBLA.
...Who're we talking about again?

We're talking about David Wise. One of Rare's famous music composers known for his work with the Donkey Kong series alongside Eveline Fischer, Robin Beanland, and Grant Kirkhope. Here is a list of what they composed. David Wise: Composed everything in DKC1 except: Funky's Fugue, Candy's Love Song, Simian Segue, Voices of the Temple, Tree Top Rock, Forest Frenzy, Ice Cave Chant, Northern Hemisphere. The entire DKC2 soundtrack. A few of the SNES DKC3 tracks which include: Dixie Beat, all three Wrinkly themes, Crazy Calypso, Brothers Bear, and Bonus Time. The entire GBA DKC3 soundtrack. But you do what you have to do. Hopefully I'll see his work in the future.

Funky's Fugue is pretty awesome. I've never heard it before.

Yeah for some reason it wasn't included in the GBA version. That and Candy's Love Song were replaced with new tunes.
