I'm being forced out of my house by a creep named Professor Kukui who REALLY, REALLY wants me to meet some Island Kahuna.

Some creepy girl and her Nebby were being assaulted by Spearow, so I ran to Professor Kukui for help. He just told me I'd know the Kahuna when I see it. Useless jerk.

The bridge Nebby was on fell apart, and I thought I died. I smiled as I fell, and got rescued by some flying electric thing.

Long-story short, I now have a Rowlet. No nickname.

Well, I did the festival and crushed Hau and his new Pichu. He's the very spitting image of a scrub, so the less amount of attention devoted to him, the better.
I finally get to see my mom again, which is nice, but now I gotta do some stupid island challenge series. I JUST GOT HERE WHY CAN'T I JUST LAY ON THE BEACH?

Also, I think this Lillie girl is really interested in me, but I think she's creepy.

She's leading me to the professor's place, and along the way, there is a wild Wingull! And I caught her.

The professor is getting pulverised by his Pokémon, but through a series of negotiations, I get an actual Rotom in my Rotom-shaped Pokédex! And I'm LOVING this Rotom. It has a personality and is like, the Huey of this game. (Except not plot-relevant.)

I encounter this Festival Plaza thing that I don't really understand but can access at any point in time. There's also the Poké Finder which I do understand (photo-taking with Rotom) that I've gotten to level 3 on, but I haven't saved anything to my SD card. (Once I do, I can Swapdoodle it!)

I wipe the floor with the trainer school, and the Teacher kicks my ass with her overpowered Magnemite. Before I battle her, I swapped out Slowpoke for... Alolan Grimer?

It took my whole team to take down that Magnemite, and the battle ultimately ended with just Rowlet standing.

I evolved Buggy Boy, too, to a Metapod!

In the city's tourist bureau, there is a guy wanting me to catch 10 species of Pokémon, so I better go back to him when I can.

Moomoo Milk is delicious. I bought new clothes and got a haircut, too.

At the Marina, two Team Skull dudes randomly appear and they don't have much presence. That gross Ilima captain wants me to fight one, and Rotom wants me to fight them too, but I don't feel like it. ...ugh, fine.

Dude has a Zubat and Melania easily 2KOs it. That's it. Ilima thinks I beat the teacher very effortlessly, and he's (?) wrong. So wrong. And now he's (?) challenging me to a battle?! With a totally rainbow-y battle. Dude has an Ultra Ball Yungoos!

On my way to the Pokémon Center, the paint on the gates dried off, AND I caught an Alolan Meowth!

AND I found TM 31 Brick Break! That's important. Pikipek can learn it? Huh.

Team Skull grunts are here?! WHY? It's Drowzee again, too. This doesn't seem very necessary.
But the Team Skull dudes are... helping me with the trial? Huh. Sure!

Elsewhere in the city, this old guy has Grimey the Grimer clean floors. Apparently Pokémon leave trash. Here I thought they'd leave shit. There's a woman in this building who says I'm not close enough with Rowlet yet to learn a special move! HMPH.
Dude's blaming me for waste in places I didn't even walk in!
"You picked up a big surprise from a Pokémon!" ...Well, that's shit.

Some of this waste was like, behind walls. I'm now a Rising Janitor, and got TM48 Round!

Meanwhile, at the Gracidea clothing store, everything is too expensive and I can't afford anything.

I finally left the ranch and met that Gladion guy. He kicked Hau's ass, which is to be expected of...everyone, really. Hau can't beat Hala, and I was wondering what ever resulted from that.
Gladion challenged me, and Dartrix and Lassy beat him without much issue. Type: Null was pretty bulky, but all it did was Tackle.

Meanwhile, this Lana captain wants me to investigate a legion of Wishiwashi, and I got a Lapras to ride! I also can take photos of Poliwags with their backs behind me, and some dude wants a Feebas. Another dude traded me a Bounsweet for Lillipup... I caught another Lillipup. Robert is still safe!

I participated in a Battle Royale with Hau, Kukui (in disguise) and Gladion. Hau's Brionne actually beat Kukui's Rockruff and it ended without declaring an official winner.

I then decided to participate in the next Trial and I don't want to talk about the details, but I got all of the dancing stuff correct.

AND THEN TOTEM SALAZZLE APPEARED AND ACTUALLY GAVE ME A GAME OVER.
WHAT THE HELL.

It's WAY too strong, and it didn't help half my team was weak to fire, and my only fire "resistance" (Ms. Sandbag) has garbage special defence. I didn't realise how low it was.

So now I need to reconfigure things.

I caught a Magmar, but it's Adamant, so that's a bit unusable.
