So I tried a Sapphire Nuzlocke. Here's a summary: Treecko named Tsutarja. Poochyena named Foddy. Zigzagoon named Pikmin. Taillow named Majestca Dustox named Crap! Whismur accidentally named WHISMUR Foddy died as the cannon fodder he is. Tsutarja fainted while taking a critical hit Peck from some trainer's Taillow. So I went through to Roxburo with Pikmin, Majestca and Crap! (level 4 Wurmple) and grinded off the surrounding area until Pikmin was 14, Majestca was 15, and Crap! was 14. And I still can't beat Roxanne's first Geodude, even with Confusion. My rules are... One attempt to capture the first Pokémon on the route, unless it's a repeat. Nickname it or don't use it. Can't use items in-battle except held items. Use the Pokémon Center as often as you'd like. Use items out of battle as often as you'd like. Battle is on 'set'. My problem is that I have no more opportunities to catch anything. I could try Harden-spamming on Dustox six times, hope Geodude misses enough, and then Confusion. I don't think that's practical, but I got three Hardens in and only took one hit but then Geodude crit'd. Only TM accessible is Bullet Seed which no one can learn. Give up? I still want to do a PMD Nuzlocke one day and see wot that ends up looking like. Edit: And Tsutarja was Modest, too.

I was wrong and doubted my own ingenuity. I developed a new battle plan vs. Roxanne: First, and most dangerously, Majestca would be sent out vs. Geodude. Majestca is to Growl spam until Geodude is at -6. Very luckily, Geodude spent the majority of the time defense curling or missing. Then switch to Pikmin. Pikmin is to spam Sand-Attack until Geodude is at -6 accuracy. Which he does. And now the switch to Crap! Crap now has to spam Harden until he is +6 defense. Geodude misses or does shit for damage. Crap then Confusion spams, forcing Roxanne to use BOTH of her potions of a shitty Geodude. This leaves Nosepass wide open with no recovery, and Dustox slightly outdamages Nosepass per turn. ... So eventually our team moves on to Dewford and we (Crap) beat the shit out of Brawly. Didn't waste Routes 106 or 107 yet for capturing. I did, however, catch a Makuhita in Granite Cave named Sandabagu. It's like level 9 or so now, I saved inside the cave. Crap is my Flasher, Pikmin is my Cutter.

Sandabagu quickly became a valuable member of my party, and it eventually could Arm Thrust and Vital Throw, slaying many an Aron in Granite Cave. We eventually reached Steven and got out of the cave, going straight to Slateport. We didn't want to fight the Team Aqua members, but they sort of forced us to since they blocked the way to Mauville. They were easy. Route 110's capture? Scrumptia the Gulpin. ...And then there was the Youngster. Next to the trainer tip sign (before May). Sandabagu easily destroyed his first worthless Pokémon. And then he sent out his Aron. How easy! Sandabagu was paralyzed at the time, meaning GUTS was on. One Vital Throw... ...But his Aron critikilled. Sandabagu FAINTED. On top of that, he attacked with a Metal Claw, and his attack was boosted. Scrumptia, go! Use Yawn! But Aron outsped and slain the newly caught Scrumptia. It was now Crap, Majestca and Pikmin. Crap was the only one who stood a chance, and bravely tried to down the Aron with Confusions. But Aron defeated Crap as well. Majestca could barely damage the Aron, but Crap did a good enough job to allow Majestca to very barely defeat it. Majestca proceeded to wipe out his Electrike. ...So, clearly, our team needed new members after these departed. WHISMUR, come back! You will now be dubbed: Murissa. By Slateport's name rater. And then May kicked our ass and got our 4th game over but that's not canon. Right now Murissa is training hard. Levels: Murissa lv. 11 Majestca lv. 19 Pikmin lv. 19 Crap and Sandabagu were level 18. No one cares about Scrumptia. <.<

So Pikmin evolved into Linoone, and Murissa is now level 15.
May time! ...Haruka?
Wait, no! Wild Shroomish encounter! Majestca, go! ...You got Poison Gas'd? Activating Guts? Right before Haruka? Oh, this is gonna be great.
GUTS-POWER VS. WAILMER WAILMER DIES but not before Growling
GUTS-POWER VS. HARUKA'S SHROOMISH
Shroomish survives the Wing Attack and... Leech Seeds.
Majestca is actually low-HP with the poison and the Leech Seed, now. And it's finally Haruka's Combusken. Majestca, with -1 attack, cannot OHKO Combusken. So, time to switch to Pikmin, now evolved.
Pikmin takes a Double Kick to the body, dealing 1/3 damage per kick. Pikmin Headbutts Combusken and gets the flinch. However, Pikmin can't take more of this, and Murissa is switched into... ...And mauled in only one of the two Double Kicks. Instantly. RIP. You did absolutely nothin', hun.
Majestca is sent back out to avenge Murissa and destroys Combusken easily, surviving with 5 HP left. So we go back to Slateport, heal, and head up to Mauville, get an Acro Bike, OHKO Wally with Pikmin...
...And Majestca evolves into Swellow!
We only have 2 Pokémon now. Although I haven't used up any of my catching opportunities in the route west, east or north of Mauville. I almost typo'd it as Maulville because we mauled the gym trainers. And I taught Pikmin Rock Smash to deal with Magnemite.
Except Wattson pwned us easily, giving a 5th game over.
Pikmin and Majestca are each level 23. Item cap is stupid.

My chance at capturing a Volbeat is gone.
I have no routes to catch stuff in until I get Rock Smash.
Unless I get like a Magikarp.
Or win something from the Game Corner?
I'll try fighting the Winstrates soon.

We lose to Wattson again, beat the Winstrates, and then defeat Wattson!
...With Majestca fainting in order to do so.
So Pikmin is level 30 now, stupid moveset of Rock Smash, Fury Swipes, Cut and Strength. Accidentally used TM Shock Wave and accidentally deleted it. <.<;
Gabby and Ty are like "You can't solo us get another Pokémon".
So. Route 112. Numel time. ...Pikmin criticals and kills it. fff- To Fire Path! Vs. Grimer! ...Grimer poisons Linoone, and eventually, it's at half health while Linoone is poisoned at 12 HP. Linoone loses 12 HP every turn due to poison. So if I don't catch Grimer right now, I lose.
And I catch it. Named it Crimah. And beat Gabby and Ty. Right now I'm training it.
Pikmin at level 30, Crimah at level 17.

Pikmin is 31, Crimah is 18.
Caught a Spinda named Clotho. He's 15. Untrained. At Route 113.
Rest house lady is scary.

I failed. Seviper in Route 114 fainted, as did Zubat in Meteor Falls. I did catch a Numel named Sootrupt in Jagged Pass. Archie was easy. So we went to Flannery's. Pikmin was sweeping her Slugmas... ...But then got destroyed. By Overheat. From Torkoal. NO. We beat Flannery, but at a critical cost. Now none of my original big five Pokémon (Tsutarja, Pikmin, Majestca, Sandabagu and Crap) are alive. Levels: Sootrupt lv. 23 Crimah lv. 25 Clotho lv. 25 Pikmin (RIP) lv. 33 I now lost my potential Surfer. Oh and we got an egg.

Desert investigate time...
Vs. Cacnea!
Clotho's Faint Attack helps vs. Sand Veil.
HELL YEAH WE CAUGHT CACNEA.
Named Sabonbon.
Awesome music.
Edit: Just realized I lost my Rock Smasher, too. I can't get back to Mauville. Time to take the cave route to Rustboro...

Accuracy Room Delcatty was fucking annoying. We're way too underleveled without Pikmin. Especially since all of my Pokémon are male (Pikmin and Majestca were female). So back to the desert to train! And some fucking Sandshrew critikilled Sabonbon. And I wasted my Bullet Seed TM on him. But I got the fossil. And gave it to the Devon guy. Say hello to Analrith the Anorith! And Sosans the Wynaut hatched. Wynaut's gonna stay in the PC, even if I got the exp share. Wobb is counterproductive in a Nuzlocke, since it can only deal damage by taking damage... -_-; Currently training Analrith, since I see his normal resist as a way to beat Norman. Analrith lv. 22 Crimah lv. 25 Sootrupt lv. 25 Clotho lv. 26 Edit: It feels really good knowing Analrith can't be critikilled.

OHKO Room Zangoose butchered Clotho and Analrith.
My Nuzlocke ends here. I'm sure of it.
Crimah lv. 27 Sootrupt lv. 27
Edit: xDDDDD Norman's first Slaking OHKO'd Sootrupt in one Facade attack. Without a critical. And -2 defense Slaking gets 4KO'd by Crimah's Sludge. So the run ends here.

So I'm going to try and salvage this by putting Crimah and Sootrupt in the daycare while riding with Sosans on my Mach Bike up and down Cycling Road, getting awesome records like 9.41 seconds with 0 collisions.
45k should be enough for them to eventually outlevel Norman.

Mt. Moon wasn't hard.
Bulbasauce evolved into Ivysaur, which is sort of weird but okay (gonna rename it Ivysauce?)
Tyfa's Hyper Fang 2KOs everything in the game that isn't a rock or steel type. Awesome.
Route 4's Pokémon was a level 12 Spearow that Tyfa OHKO'd. >_>;
I put Faleila (I typo'd her name in the last post... yikes) and Pidgeona in Box 1 because... yeah, they're not gonna be used.
We cleared out Misty's two gym trainers but not gonna fight Misty yet. I don't feel ready. Because Bulbasauce will solo the gym, I think.
Bulbasauce is level 19, Geral is level 16, and Tyfa is level 17.
I taught Geral Mega Punch.

DanksALot the Bellsprout, ♀, Naive, Level 13, Route 24 Mips the Abra, ♂, Lax, Level 11, Route 25
DanksALot is a bit redundant with Bulbasauce, so gonna focus on training Mips...?
Edit: Taught Mips Thief, due to it being a special attack.
